Every Kid Counts Essay Winners

2018 Essay Contest Winners: "What makes our differences beautiful?"

Popsicle Parties: 
The class with the most participants receives a popsicle party.  
There were 5 classes who participated 95-100%.  Each of those classes will be receiving a popsicle party!

The following students received a $25 Amazon gift card and a copy of the book “365 days of Wonder”. All of the winning essays and artwork are on display in the main hall at the Every Kid Counts Doodle Zone.

3rd grade,  Room 36: Makena Bygrave: “I am glad that we are different so I can get to know her but also get to know me.”
4th grade, Room 20: Nola Sherrod: “If everyone was the same, different minds couldn’t come together to figure out something great.”
5th grade,  Room 24: Nishaan Manthena: “I have friends who like me for who I am not for how I am different from them. My differences make me special because I do not let them stop me from being who I want to be. I just want to be me.”
