Our school is run by 3 organizations:
- The school's Governance Council, comprised of elected teacher, parent, and staff representatives, participates in decisions regarding curriculum, hiring, budget, enrollment, and day-to-day and long-term concerns.
- Our school’s chapter of PTA (Parent Teacher Association) provides exciting and engaging school assemblies, beloved extra-curricular events like the Halloween Carnival and the Spelling Bee, and hands-on community service opportunities.
- Parents for Carpenter (PFC) is the school’s non-profit fundraising arm. PFC funds enrichment programs in music, physical education, dance, science lab, art and media lab classes. The fundraising efforts pays for classroom downsizing, school aides for teachers and administration, educational materials, technology upgrades and beautification/site improvements.
