Back To School Night chat

This is the perfect opportunity for you to introduce the room parents. Use this forum to encourage volunteers and talk about the teacher's wish list. Your introduction can be short and at the end of the evening, so as not to interfere with the teachers' presentation.

BULLET POINTS FOR BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT GRADES 1-5:

• Classroom Donation - Let parents know the each classroom will be collecting a voluntary donation of $100 per student. Have your cc swiper there ready to go.
• Let them know that we will need some volunteers and will post the opportunities on the shutterfly site.
• PTA Membership - Please let parents know they can pay their PTA membership online using the Totem website. No cash.
• Class Roster/Shutterfly – If you need to collect the roster info do so and remind parents about Shutterfly.
• Carpenter Cares – Please explain the Carpenter Cares program to parents, let them know that everything is kept confidential. If you would like to sign up to help with Carpenter Cares there is a form in the Welcome Folder.
